The Leadership

Earl Houston, is chief executive officer of Ciralight, Houston joined Ciralight at its inception as part of a dynamic sales team and has quickly risen through the ranks. His leadership qualities set him apart and he quickly earned an appointment to vice president, Sales and Marketing. Under Houston's guidance and direction, the company's sales in the first quarter of 2008 were more than four times the revenues generated for all of 2007. This comes as a direct result his implementation of effective sales programs. "My vision is to continue to make our product (the SunTracker) the standard in retail lighting". Our product will now be spec'd in many new construction projects that Retailers will be doing that requires LEED certification. Prior to joining Ciralight, Houston helped grow Prudential CA Realty, a California real restate sales organization, by more than 900 percent in seven years. He also has worked in the industrial tool business, beginning his career as a regional manager and rising to the position of executive vice president of a Stanley Tool joint venture. Houston graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Houston is also a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Jacqueline Stevens, Senior Vice President, is the former President of So-Luminaire, the predecessor of Nature's Lighting. As the daughter of the inventor of the initial product, Jacqueline has also been very active in the business of daylighting for twenty years. Her tenacity and good business judgment allowed her to restructure the So-Luminaire business, put together a highly qualified team and get the financing necessary to build Nature's Lighting. Stevens is a daylighting expert with an extensive skill set in marketing and sales.

Steve Briee, Vice President, Design and Construction, has been active in the design and installation of daylighting systems with his own company as well as heading up the installation arm of So-Luminaire. Prior to that, he owned and operated an electrical contracting company in Southern California.

Clayton Lewis, Director of IT and Operations Manager, is a master of all things Mac and diverse in many areas of technology. Prior to working with Ciralight, he was was the owner of The MacTech, a DC/Baltimore based consulting practice that catered to a variety of clientelle. Clayton brings a wide array of skills and technology know-how to Ciralight.
